Hydrocele of the canal of Nuck is an uncomon and infrequently reported finding in women. A 24-year-old female presented with a painless left groin swelling which was soft, cystic, non-tender with 7.5 cm x 5 cm in measurement. It was more prominent in standing. Ultrasonography revealed an encysted echofree lesion in the left inguinal canal. On surgery, a cyst was found containing clear fluid in the inguinal canal which was dissected out and wound was closed in layers. The patient is doing well till date. Here one such case with diagnosis of hydrocele of the canal of Nuck is reported.

A case of left-sided gallbladder with an anomaly of the intrahepatic portal vein and cholesterol polyps of the gallbladder is presented. A 23-year-old man with sudden onset of epigastric pain, fever and abdominal irritation was admitted to our hospital and an emergency celiotomy was carried out. A patient who initially had a small-bowel obstruction was found, at laparotomy, to have an internal hernia through a defect of the falciform ligament. Simple resection of the round ligament was curative. The defect is presumed to have been congenital in origin. No previous report could be found in our review of the literature.

OBJECTIVE: This study analyzed the morphology of the California sea lion globe to determine what features may contribute to their characteristic visual abilities.
PROCEDURE: Globes from the Comparative Ocular Pathology Laboratory of Wisconsin (COPLOW) collection were examined from gross photographs and microscopic sections stained with hematoxylin and eosin, trichrome, smooth muscle actin, and alcian blue periodic acid-Schiff (PAS). Transmission electron microscopy of the cornea and iris was also performed.

Two instances of extraperitoneal inguinal endometriosis are presented with a review of the previous reports of proven diagnosis. A high index of suspicion is needed to avoid needless prolonged observation. The diagnosis must be considered in any woman of childbearing age especially if the groin mass is associated with menstrual variability in size and in tenderness of the mass. Excision is curative and should result in permanent relief of pain.

CASE: A 13-year-old adolescent girl presented with right hip pain and restricted motion, 3 days following closed reduction of post-traumatic hip dislocation. Initial radiograph looked innocuous. A computed tomography scan was performed due to persistent pain, revealed a bony ligamentum teres (LT) avulsion fragment incarcerated within the hip joint. The fragment was excised through a safe surgical dislocation, and an intraoperatively discovered posterior labral tear was repaired. The patient is asymptomatic at 2-year follow-up.
