Heterogeneous photocatalysis was used for the degradation and mineralization of erythromycin (ERY), with a consequent production of carboxylic acids. For that, a series of TiO2 and Ti1-xSnxO2 structured catalysts, namely M1 to M5, was prepared using the washcoating method, with the catalytic coatings being deposited onto stainless steel meshes. Low-temperature growth of indium tin oxide (ITO) nanowires (NWs) was obtained on catalyst-free amorphous glass substrates at 250 °C by Nd:YAG pulsed-laser deposition. These ITO NWs have branching morphology as grown in Ar ambient. A method is described for the simultaneous determination of butyl- and phenyltin compounds in oyster samples. The organotin compounds were extracted (as chlorides) from oyster homogenates with hydrochloric acid and benzene in the presence of 0.05% tropolone. These compounds were converted into pentyl derivatives with pentyl Grignard reagent and then analysed by capillary gas chromatography with a flame photometric detector equipped with a 393-nm filter. The reliability of the technique for measuring the hepatic perfusion index (HPI) for the detection of liver metastases has been examined. Dynamic images from 173 patients with primary and recurrent colorectal cancer have been analysed by two operators using the peak values of both the right and left kidney time-activity curves. In this paper, a pure SnWO4 was synthesized by solvothermal method. The glucose as a carbon sources was mixed with SnWO4 to prepared SnWO4/C composite. We report on the synthesis and characterization of Sn-doped hematite nanowires and nanocorals as well as their implementation as photoanodes for photoelectrochemical water splitting. Severe sepsis leads to depression of the reticuloendothelial (RE) system with delayed bloodstream clearance of particulate matter and bacteria. 99mTc tin colloid accumulated in the lungs in 102 patients during liver imaging both in malignant and benign diseases. The percentage of neoplastic diseases increased when the lung uptake became greater and only patients with malignant final diagnosis had marked lung uptake.
