2025 Clinical practice guidelines of the Mexican Society for HeartCare (SOMECCOR) and the Mexican Society of Cardiology (SMC) on Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Prevention: therapeutic physical training and heart-healthy lifestyle. Developed by the Task Force for Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and Prevention of the Mexican Society for Heart Care (SOMECCOR) and the Mexican Society of Cardiology (SMC).

Comprehensive cardiovascular rehabilitation and prevention programs (CVRhP-P) are the cornerstone for improving maximum exercise tolerance, reducing mortality, improving health-related quality of life, and reducing healthcare costs in patients with cardiovascular disease (CVD). These types of programs have grown relatively slowly since their inception in the first decade of the last century, although the last 10 years have seen an increase in the number of centers, both in developing and high-income countries. In order to update and standardize scientific knowledge in this clinical area, the S

Non-pneumatic anti-shock garment utilization and associated factors in Ethiopia: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

BACKGROUND: The Non-pneumatic Anti-Shock Garment (NASG) serve as a crucial first-aid device designed to apply pressure to the lower body. This device can save women's lives through reducing blood loss and stabilizing the women until definitive treatment is available. Between 2013 and 2015, health institutions in Ethiopia that implemented the NASG reported reduction of 80% in maternal deaths from haemorrhagic shock. So far, a number of studies have been carried out across various regions of Ethiopia to evaluate the extent of Non-pneumatic Anti-Shock Garment. However, the findings have yielded in

Global knowledge, attitudes, and practices towards antimicrobial resistance among healthcare workers: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

BACKGROUND: The rising prevalence of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a critical global health challenge. Healthcare workers (HCWs) play a pivotal role in combating AMR by implementing effective preventive strategies and adhering to good practices. This study aimed to evaluate the global knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) of HCWs towards AMR. METHODS: A comprehensive search of PubMed/MEDLINE, ScienceDirect, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and Google Scholar was conducted for English-language articles published up to August 2024. Inclusion criteria were observational studi

A Randomized Feasibility Trial of a Novel, Integrative, and Intensive Virtual Rehabilitation Program for Service Members Post-Acquired Brain Injury.

INTRODUCTION: Acquired Brain Injury, whether resulting from Traumatic brain injury (TBI) or Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA), represent major health concerns for the Department of Defense and the nation. TBI has been referred to as the "signature" injury of recent U.S. military conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan - affecting approximately 380,000 service members from 2000 to 2017; whereas CVA has been estimated to effect 795,000 individuals each year in the United States. TBI and CVA often present with similar motor, cognitive, and emotional deficits; therefore the treatment interventions for bo

Regulatory and Accreditation Systems and Their Association With Health Workforce and Healthcare Quality in Low- and Middle-Income Countries: A Systematic Review and Policy Analysis.

PURPOSE: To synthesize evidence on the association between regulatory and accreditation systems and health workforce and healthcare quality in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), and to analyze the policy factors that shape their implementation. METHODS: A systematic review reported according to PRISMA 2020. PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar were searched for English-language literature published between January 2010 and March 2026. Eligible sources examined regulatory or accreditation mechanisms in at least one LMIC and were analyzed as three separate evidence streams:

In-Simulation Versus Post-Simulation Debriefing in Medical Training: A Scoping Review and Theoretical Framework for Military Application.

INTRODUCTION: Simulation-based medical training is important for readiness. Feedback and debriefing are important components of simulation that support learning. Debriefs for military training are traditionally conducted at the conclusion of training, but recent evidence in the civilian medical training literature suggests that in-simulation debriefing may provide benefits for skill acquisition. The purpose of this scoping review is to map the body of literature examining post-simulation and in-simulation debriefing, highlight trends in the literature, and identify research gaps. Prognostic value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio in nasopharyngeal carcinoma: a systematic review and meta-analysis of 30 cohorts through June 30, 2026.

BACKGROUND: Previous meta-analyses have linked an elevated pretreatment neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) to poor outcomes in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), but they included few recent cohorts and often combined adjusted and unadjusted estimates. We updated the evidence base and evaluated the consistency and certainty of the associations between pretreatment NLR and survival outcomes. METHODS: We systematically searched PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, the Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and Wanfang Data from inception through June 30, 2026. Nursing leadership for sustainable endoscopy: a narrative review and practice framework.

Gastrointestinal endoscopy is a resource-intensive clinical service that generates substantial waste, consumes water and energy, and depends on disposable accessories, sterile packaging, and complex reprocessing pathways. Although green endoscopy has received increasing attention, current sustainability strategies have often emphasized physician decision-making, technological innovation, or industry-level redesign, while the practical contribution of endoscopy nurses remains insufficiently defined. This narrative review developed a nursing-centred framework for sustainable endoscopy practice,

Molecular biomarkers in uterine sarcomas: a review of reviews with genomic data integration.

BACKGROUND: Uterine sarcomas (US) account for 3-7% of uterine malignancies but cause disproportionate high cancer-related mortality. Despite expanding molecular profiling, evidence remains fragmented across histological categories, limiting translation into validated prognostic tools and actionable therapeutic targets. METHODS: We conducted a comprehensive review, searching MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, and ProQuest. Eligible studies were systematic or high-quality narrative reviews evaluating molecular biomarkers with diagnostic, prognostic, or predictive relevance in US. Methodological q

Self-Driving Scanning Probe Microscopy: From Acceleration to Discovery and Manipulation.

Scanning probe microscopy offers a powerful suite of techniques for investigating meso-, micro- and nanoscale phenomena ─ enabling the exploration of advanced materials, heterostructures, quantum materials, as well as providing insight into surface energetics and reactions. Additional spectroscopic capabilities combined with multimodal imaging allow for spatially resolved characterization of functional material properties. Despite its central role, microscopy is still predominantly conducted through a sequential, operator-driven workflow in which data acquisition, interpretation, and subsequen
