In this review, we summarise the patterns of bone marrow involvement by small B-cell lymphomas. Both our own experience and the literature reports on the subject show that each subtype of lymphoma can be recognised from a distinct combination of a suggestive growth pattern and a particular cytological composition. Enteropathy-associated T cell lymphoma is a rare lymphoma specific to the gastrointestinal system, arising from intraepithelial T lymphocytes, that is often associated with celiac disease. We report a 53-year-old female patient with no previous disease who presented with severe abdominal pain. Physical examination revealed diffuse abdominal tenderness and abdominal guarding and the patient underwent emergency surgery with a diagnosis of acute abdomen. During the operation, a 20-cm mass was found located on Treitz ligament, invading the duodenum and pancreatic head and perforating the jejunum.

PURPOSE: We aimed to evaluate the effect of 2100 MHz radiofrequency radiation on the parotid gland of rats in short and relatively long terms.
MATERIAL AND METHODS: Thirty Wistar albino rats were divided into four groups. Groups A and B served as the control groups (for 10 days and 40 days, respectively), and each group included six rats. Groups C and D were composed of nine rats each, and they were the exposure groups. The rats were exposed to 2100 MHz radiofrequency radiation emitted by a generator, simulating a third generation mobile phone for 6 hours/day, 5 days/week, for 10 or 40 days.

STUDY DESIGN: Seven patients (6 men and 1 woman between 52 and 60 years of age) treated for amebic dysentery with multiple liver lesions were selected for ultrasound (US)-guided FNA. We present a case of pyothorax-associated T-cell lymphoma in which Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) genome is not detected in the tumor cells. An 80-year-old male came to our hospital because of a left chest pain. Chest computed tomography (CT) showed a mass at the lower-dorsal part of the pyothorax wall, which involved the adjacent chest wall. The surgical biopsy specimen showed a predominant infiltration of atypical lymphocytes. Results of immunohistochemical analysis were as follows: CD3+, CD4-, CD8+, CD20-, CD30-, CD45RO+ and CD79a-. We diagnosed this case as a type of peripheral T-cell lymphoma.
