Of a total of 176 cases of spina bifida observed from a urological standpoint, we detected an infra-vesical obstruction in 27, the diagnosis being based upon urological findings alone: dysuria, residue and infection. We report a case of a complete, ectopic blind-ending ureteral duplication in a 26-year-old man who presented with the symptoms of an acute urinary tract infection for the first time. Since anamnestic data and clinical examination indicated a complicated urinary infection he was referred for further examination. On the left side, the imaging studies revealed a normal ureter draining the lower pole of the kidney and a blind-ending ureter with ectopia in the seminal vesicle. The patient recovered completely following surgical removal of the blind-ending ureter.

OBJECTIVE: We present a clinical case of inverted papilloma of the anterior urethra in a male patient.
METHODS/RESULTS: 40 years-old man, without antecedents. The patient presented with dysuria and urethral bleeding on three occacions. Preliminary studies included radiographic voiding urethrocystography which revealed anterior urethral filling defect. Cystourethroscopy under anaesthetic was performed, allowing endoscopic resection of the tumour causing the filling defect. OBJECTIVES: We report a clinical case of inverted papilloma of the anterior male urethra.
METHODS/RESULTS: 40-year-old male without significant past medical history presenting with dysuria and referring three episodes of urethral bleeding. Preliminary studies included voiding cystourethrogram (VCUG) which revealed a filling defect in the anterior urethra. Urethrocystoscopy was performed under anesthesia, with resection of the tumor.
