An open pilot study was carried out in 27 patients with severe and frequent migraine attacks who had failed to respond adequately to other drug therapy, to assess the effectiveness and tolerance of prophylactic treatment with suloctidil. Patients received 600 mg suloctidil daily for 6 weeks. Response, assessed on the reduction in frequency of attacks, was considered as good in 7 patients and as significant improvement in 11 patients. The lateral radiographs of the dorsal spines of 20 patients presenting with mainly low back pain are studied. These patients had clinically evident loss of flexion in the low dorsal spine and very tight hamstring muscles. 85% of them showed definite evidence of previous Scheuermann's Disease. The possibility that tight hamstrings may be an important factor in the aetiology of this disease is discussed, and a further large scale study is proposed.

Vital maxillary canines of mature cats were intentionally instrumented through the foramen with No. 50 K-files. Dentin chips were packed into the apical opening in one tooth of each animal. In the contralateral tooth a dentin plug was not formed. Both root canals were then filled with gutta-percha. The animals were sacrificed at 3, 5, and 8 months. The results showed quicker healing characterized by minimal inflammation and cementum deposition in the specimens where dentin fillings were packed.
