Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is the most commonly injured ligament occurs in young adult population, which markedly reduces activity level. Anterior cruciate ligament rupture is a threat to the homeostasis of the knee. So, reconstruction of the ACL is necessary to make them fit and return to their pre-injury activity level. INTRODUCTION: Multiple pregnancy still constitutes a difficult therapeutic problem in perinatology. The incidence of this phenomenon describes Hellin's formula: the number of twin pregnancy is 1/n, triplet--1/n 2 etc. Among complications observed in multiple pregnancy intrauterine death of one or more foetuses is not rare. Due to progressive disturbances in haemostasis the risk for a mother and remaining live foetus increases with gestation. Diffuse-reflectance laser flash photolysis has been used to record transient spectra and decay kinetics of the photodynamic therapy sensitizer disulfonated aluminium phthalocyanine in two murine cancer cell lines, P815 derived from white mouse mast cells, and EL4, a lymphoblast derived from black mouse lymphocytes. In contrast to results with bacterial cells and yeasts, no transient other than the triplet state of the sensitizer was detected, suggesting that unlike the case in microbes, Type I electron-transfer processes play no role in the photodestruction of the murine cells studied.

OBJECTIVE: To compare the perinatal outcome of triplet gestations with and without prophylactic cerclage.
METHODS: A retrospective chart review of all triplet gestations delivered between January 1988 and June 1997 was performed. Only women initiating prenatal care before 15 weeks gestation were included. The cerclage group was compared to the no-cerclage group for maternal and perinatal outcome variables. Student t-test, Chi-square, and Fisher's exact test were used for analysis.
