UNLABELLED: Ovarian fibrothecoma are a mostly benign and profoundly rare type of gonadal stromal cell tumor. It makes up 3-4% of all kinds of ovarian neoplasia. They are predominantly unilateral in origin and mostly present in women during the postmenopausal phase. Our case is especially important because the tumors occurred bilaterally and were associated with ascites. This seldom happens in patients with ovarian fibrothecoma. Early identification and treatment are key components to avoid the subsequent complications of this tumor.

We present a case of pelvic organ prolapse and inguinal hernia worsened by a benign ovarian tumor with ascites. A 61-year-old woman was referred to us complaining of feeling of something protruding from her vagina. She was diagnosed with Stage III cystocele. Behavioral therapy was administered as she had only slight subjective symptoms. She visited us eight months later due to a rapid aggravation of cystocele and voiding difficulty. INTRODUCTION: Dyskinesia of the ADCY5 mutation is a rare movement-onset disorder in childhood. It is characterized by isolated chorea movements or associated with myoclonus and dystonia affecting the limbs, neck and face. The low number of patients and families still does not allow an adequate genotype-phenotype relationship.
AIMS: The case of a child with movement disorders of early onset is presented in a family with three generations of affected members. An updated review of the casuistry and management of this rare disease is made.

Thymomas are low-grade epithelial cancers of the thymus whose prevalence varies between 0.1/100,000 and 0.4/100,000. Familial occurrence of thymoma is very rare. We studied a family bearing the constitutional chromosome translocation t(14;20)(q24;p12), 3 of whose members had a thymoma. Two familial cases of late onset spasmodic dysphonia and low Arylsulphatase A (ASA) are reported. In one case spasmodic dysphonia was associated with negative head tremor and orthostatic tremor, both displayed postural tremor of the upper extremities. A familial predisposition for both focal dystonia and metabolic lysosomal impairment is suggested by similar observations.

We analyzed patients treated during the past five years with botulinum toxin type A for strabismus and blepharospasm, reviewed our successes, failures, and unusual cases, and drew conclusions based on these treatments. The natural history and response to different treatments were assessed in 31 consecutive patients with blepharospasm (BS) and/or oromandibular dystonia (OMD). The mean age at onset was 52.4 years and there was a female preponderance of 2.5 to 1. Ocular symptoms preceded the onset of blepharospasm in more than 50% of the affected patients, whereas psychiatric and dental problems prior to the onset of focal dystonia were found in 10% and 13% of the cases respectively.
