We report a distinctive lesion of the labium majus resected in 14 girls from 3.9 to 13.2 years of age. All presented with enlargement of 1 or occasionally both labia majora. Radiographic imaging and surgical exploration showed expansion of the labium majus without definable borders. Grossly, specimens consisted of fibro-fatty tissue from 2 to 8 cm in greatest dimension. BACKGROUND: Plasmablastic lymphoma is a rare, highly aggressive mature B-cell lymphoma with terminal B-cell/plasma-cell differentiation. It usually arises in the oral cavity in patients with human immunodeficiency virus infection or other forms of immunodeficiency, whereas primary sinonasal involvement in an apparently immunocompetent patient is uncommon. On hematoxylin-and-eosin examination, it may histomorphologically resemble poorly differentiated epithelial, melanocytic, and other hematolymphoid malignancies, necessitating a broad immunohistochemical panel for definitive diagnosis.

BACKGROUND: Submucosal pseudoinvasion and squamous metaplasia (SM) are incidental and special morphological findings in colorectal adenomas, and both can mimic invasive carcinoma. The coexistence of these two findings further increases the risk of misdiagnosis, posing a great diagnostic challenge to pathologists. From 1979 to 2022, only 8 cases have been reported, which was extremely rare. In this report, we presented a case of sigmoid colon adenoma accompanied by pseudoinvasion and SM. Additionally, relevant literature was analyzed to summarize the clinical and pathological characteristics.

BACKGROUND: Potassium dichromate (PD) is considered a common inorganic chemical reagent, and it is considered one of the hexavalent chromium Cr (VI) compounds; these compounds have genotoxic, carcinogenic, and immunotoxic effects. It induces thyroid gland toxicity via oxidative stress. Selenium (Se) and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) are known for their antioxidant role, and therefore, they are essential for humans and animals.
