Varicocele rupture was diagnosed in a 23-year-old man who presented with swelling and pain in the left scrotum after sexual intercourse. Color Doppler ultrasonography revealed blood flowing into the space surrounding the left testis, a hematoma and reflux of blood in the left spermatic vein. Varicocele rupture is a very rare condition and there have been only five reported cases.

The object of our study was the liver rupture as a complication of HELLP syndrome. We described a case of 27-year-old primigravida who underwent the cesarean section because of HELLP syndrome, followed by four laparotomies, due to capsular hematoma and liver rupture. Surgery with packing, argon coagulation or embolization of hepatic artery remain the only treatment for subcapsular hematoma and liver rupture. OBJECTIVE: Typical signs of papillary renal cell carcinoma (PRCC) are extensive necroses of the tumorous mass, which can modify the clinical appearance of PRCC. These necroses can imitate cysts on radiological examinations (ultrasonography and CT). The tumours are fragile and vulnerable to spontaneous rupture or rupture following minimal trauma (i.e. they act as a locus minoris resistentiae).

We report a case of a spontaneous rupture of a normal stomach after therapeutic oxygen administration. In this case, early treatment precluded the need for a laparotomy. This rare complication highlights the importance of the right positioning of a nasal catheter and leads us to question its role compared to other means of oxygen delivery (nasal cannulae, Hudson mask, Venturi mask).

A 67-year-old woman with a history of longstanding treatment with corticosteroids (8 years) for Giant Cell Arteritis had general anesthesia for cataract removal. Spontaneous hepatic hydatid cyst rupture into the biliary tract is unusual. The authors describe a case of a 62-year-old man with a hepatic hydatid cyst, showing that it is possible to confirm rupture into the biliary system with cholangiography-MRI.
