Twenty-one patients with severe acne (acne papulopustulosa, acne conglobata, acne cystica), six patients with severe rosacea (rosacea paulopustulosa, rosacea conglobata, rhinophyma), and three patients with tuberous sclerosis were treated with 13-cis-retinoic acid for 6-48 weeks. A 40-year-old woman presented with a pigmented nodule on a previously existing yellowish, verrucous plaque on the scalp. The histological diagnosis was consistent with a pigmented trichoblastoma developed within a sebaceous nevus (SN). A multigene hotspot mutational profiling of the BRAF, NRAS, HRAS and KRAS genes was carried out, and a shared G13R HRAS mutation in both the trichoblastoma and the sebaceous nevus components was found. These data support a common molecular landscape of the two lesions.

Approximately 5-15% of all dermatologic malignancies manifest in the upper and lower eyelids. The primary types include basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and sebaceous cell carcinoma, with Merkel cell carcinoma and melanoma following closely behind. Basal cell carcinoma predominantly affects the lower eyelid, yet various other carcinomas, melanomas, metastases, and neoplasms of diverse origins can arise on both upper and lower eyelids. Risk factors such as advanced age, smoking, and notably, exposure to UV light significantly contribute to the development of these eyelid lesions.

Becker nevus (BN) is a common benign condition occurring most often in young men, much more often than in women. Acne isolated within a BN is a rare phenomenon hypothesized to occur, at least in part, due to increased androgen sensitivity within the nevus. We present a rare case of papular acne with in a BN of a 14 year-old girl.

A 65-year-old man presented with a history of multiple skin coloured papules on his face that were asymptomatic. He had an adenocarcinoma resected from his proximal colon 12 years prior to presentation as well as a family history of colon cancer on the maternal side. Brooke-Spiegler syndrome is an autosomal dominantly inherited disease with predisposition to cutaneous adnexal neoplasms, most commonly cylindromas and trichoepitheliomas. Intraductal carcinoma (IDC) is a rare tumor of the salivary glands. Here, we report a unique case of apocrine IDC of the parotid gland of a 60-year-old male, exhibiting a striking sebaceous-like differentiation.
