We report a case of persistent cloaca and type I congenital pouch colon associated with ileovesical and colovesical fistulae. Such a malformation has not been reported so far.

We investigated the colistin resistance rate among 356 Enterobacter spp. clinical isolates from eight hospitals in Korea. Antibiotic susceptibility testing was performed by broth microdilution. This report describes a case of giant cystic meconium peritonitis (GCMP) associated with a cloacal anomaly. Antenatal ultrasonography and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated persistent fetal ascites, bilateral hydronephrosis, and 3 pelvic cystic structures. Within amniotes, external copulatory organs have undergone extensive morphological diversification.
