By previous isolation of the testosterone transport cytosol protein in bald and hairy areas in patients with male pattern baldness, the author studies the differences concerning the protein citosol-testosterone complex, after fixation by means of labelled testosterone and electrophoresis, measuring the corresponding radioactivity curves. The existence of labile iron pools (LFePs) in biological systems has been recognized for decades, but their chemical composition remains uncertain.
