Cyclodextrin (CD) is a conical compound used in food and pharmaceutical industry to complexation of hydrophobic substances. Antenatal steroids have improved the survival of preterm infants; however, the mechanism of action is not fully understood. We have studied NO production, ACE activity and their correlation in pleural fluid of patients with and without lung wound, in the blood serum of the wounded and blood donors.
