BACKGROUND: Penile squamous cell carcinoma (PSCC) can affect men of any age, but we know little about the differences between non-old and old patients with PSCC, which severely limits the precise diagnosis and treatment of PSCC.

Recent research has uncovered Arabidopsis thaliana proteins that are similar to the human inflammatory cytokine MIF. Eight hundred and eighty patients hospitalized in a geriatric hospital were routinely tested with 2, 10, 30 and 100 i.u. tuberculin.
