С мая 2022 года по всему миру продолжается вспышка обезьянопокса (MPXV). Роль других образцов, помимо повреждений кожи, для диагностики MPXV неизвестна. Мы провели оценку 140 различных клинических образцов в режиме реального времени. Самая высокая позитивность (97%) была связана с повреждениями кожи любой части тела, за которой следовали плазма, харинговые и анальные мазки. Тестирование образцов на нескольких участках может повысить чувствительность и уменьшить результаты ложного негативного испытания.
