A rare type of epispadias in a neonate is described in which a complete phimotic prepuce was present. In this situation, the accurate diagnosis is very difficult and may be easily overlooked in the neonatal period. The broad, spadelike glans, the dorsally directed prepucial opening, and the urinary stream are signs previously described. The special shape of the raphe penis and the depression between the corpora cavernosa felt by palpation of the glans are useful new clinical signs to suspect this type of epispadias.

She underwent an abdominal ultrasound that revealed a right lower quadrant cystic mass. On dairy farms covered by the ambulatory service of the Department of Farm Animal Health, 55 Holstein-Friesian cows with suspected ovarian follicular cysts on the basis of rectal palpation underwent confirmatory transrectal ultrasonography. An ovarian follicular cyst was confirmed in 28 cows (50.9%) and was treated by single transvaginal-guided needle aspiration. Cows with a corpus luteum or a luteinized cyst were not treated. Sixty-four cases of gastrointestinal linear foreign body in the cat were reviewed. Most of the cats were less than 4 years old. In a large metropolitan general hospital, a high incidence of congenital hypertrophic pyloric stenosis was noted in non-Caucasian groups. Bile-free emesis was consistently reported, and admission was frequently delayed. A prompt diagnosis following admission was not always possible. This report describes a case of a solitary unicameral patellar bone cyst in a young dog. A five-month-old, male Dobermann Pinscher dog was referred for a 10-day left hindlimb lameness. A mild swelling of the peripatellar soft tissues of the left patella was detected upon physical examination. Signs of pain were elicited upon direct palpation of the patella. We calculate the positive predictive value (PPV) of abnormal (C3-5) FNAC, alone and in combination with clinical and imaging findings, based on a consecutive series of 2,334 subjects. The PPV of a C3, C4 or C5 report is 55.0%, 95.9% and 99.4%, respectively. C5 Cytology is highly predictive of malignancy (PPV=99.4-99.7%) except where imaging is negative or benign. This study aimed to test the recommendation in the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research Practice Guideline on urinary incontinence that postvoid residual volume PVR estimates can be done by palpation.
