Habitual dislocation of the hip occurred in a nine-year-old girl. The nomenclature of the literature on this disorder and other related conditions is confusing. The following simple classification is therefore proposed: (1) recurrent dislocation (posttraumatic, nonvoluntary); (2) voluntary dislocation (nonhabitual, associated with ligamentous laxity or paralytic disease); (3) habitual dislocation (not associated with significant ligamentous laxity). Attempts to classify drug addicts are divided into three main groups: (1) psychiatric classifications, (2) psychological classifications, and (3) classifications by pattern of abuse. A total of 128 patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP) have been examined. Personal data of clinical examinations and the literature data enabled the authors to elaborate diagnostic criteria of UAP. Classification of UAP with consideration of its history, the clinical course of the disease and changes in the coronary arteries found with coronarography is offered. Biopsies of skin and mucosal lesions were made on 60 well documented Brazilian patients with untreated cutaneous or mucocutaneous leishmaniasis, whose response to treatment was subsequently evaluated in 38 cases. Thirty-eight cases of congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung are described, and a classification based on clinical, gross, and microscopic criteria is proposed. The type I lesion is composed of single or multiple large cysts (more than 2 cm. in diameter), frequently producing mediastinal herniation. The survival rates in 204 patients suffering from cystic fibrosis observed between January 1956 and June 1976 were recorded. The patients were divided into five groups according to the symptoms present at the time of diagnosis and survival rates were recorded separately for each group.
