We performed an asthma mice model in this study and aimed to investigate the levels of mediators in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), and lung tissue, and the pathological changes response to the steroid treatment. Rats were exposed by inhalation to chromium dioxide (CrO2) dust at design concentrations of 0, 0.5 (stabilized and unstabilized, respectively) or 25 mg m-3 (stabilized) for 6 h day-1, 5 days week-1 for 2 years.
