One prominent open question in the field of antisense oligonucleotide remains the intracellular delivery of active sequences. Arylsulfatase A (ASA) was purified from human placenta, ovary, and ovarian cancer tissue. A novel sulfated glycosaminoglycan-like polysaccharide (SIP), with a molecular weight of 13.78 kDa, was isolated from Sepia recurvirostra ink.
