Microsatellite instability (MSI) was examined in 49 lymphoid leukemia/lymphoma cell lines. Frameshift mutations within eight MSI target genes were analyzed in the 12 cell lines and nine childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) samples with MSI. The zebrafish model was used to evaluate the antioxidant properties of cyanidin-3-O-glucoside (C3G) and its metabolite protocatechuic acid (PCA) against aflatoxin B1 (AFB1)-induced hepatotoxicity and oxidative stress. Aberrant phosphorylation of the microtubule associated protein tau (tau) is associated with multiple neurodegenerative diseases where it is a contributes to neurotoxicity.
