INTRODUCTION: The 2019 European Society of Cardiology and European Atherosclerosis Society (2019 ESC/EAS) guidelines stress the importance of managing low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) after myocardial infarction (MI) to reduce the risk of cardiovascular events.
