PURPOSE: To analyze the spectrum of aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity and outcome after laser treatment.
METHODS: This is a retrospective review of 81 eyes of 44 consecutive infants diagnosed to have aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity and treated between September 2005 and March 2007 from a large tertiary care center in North India. Qualitative variables were tested for statistical significance using the chi-square test and independent samples with the student's t-test.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the antibacterial effect of chamomile extract irrigant activated with a diode laser 980 nm against Enterococcus faecalis. Sixty extracted human single-rooted teeth were chosen. Their roots were mechanically prepared using ProTaper rotary system till size F4 taper 0.06, and their crowns were resected at the cementoenamel junction (CEJ). After sterilization, they were infected for three weeks with Enterococcus faecalis (ATCC 29212) obtained from the microbiology laboratory. To assess the impact of photodynamic therapy (PDT) parameters in the management of oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs). We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of studies that assessed the curative effect of PDT published in PubMed and Embase until Dec 2018. OBJECTIVE: Infantile hemangiomas are well known for their rapid growth during the first 6 to 9 months of life, followed by a spontaneous but slow involution. The standard of care is to treat these lesions at an early age with propranolol to expedite the involution process; however, surgery still remains an active component in the management. Medical treatment with propranolol or natural involution will often result in residual telangiectasias. Fox Fordyce disease (FFD) has been recently described as an adverse effect of laser hair removal. It is an apocrine gland disorder characterized by pruritus and a folliculocentric papular eruption in apocrine sweat gland areas. Different etiologies have been proposed to be the cause of this entity. It has been suggested that a fisical factor could contribute to FFD phatogenesis.
