PURPOSE: We evaluated the prognostic significance of the histology of metastatic lymph nodes to predict postoperative relapse in pathological stage B1 nonseminomatous germ cell tumor (NSGCT).
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A retrospective review of the testicular cancer database was performed to identify all patients with clinical stage A NSGCT who underwent primary retroperitoneal lymph node dissection and were found to have pathological stage B1 disease. No patient received adjuvant chemotherapy and minimal followup was 24 months.

BACKGROUND Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a rare neuroendocrine neoplasm. The immunotherapy era has dramatically changed MCC prognosis, but unresponsive and progressive diseases after anti- programmed death-ligand 1 (PDL1) treatment still represent a challenge. INTRODUCTION: Teratomas are rare neoplasms made up of mature embryonic germ cell layers. Extra-gonadal teratomas are rare and primarily in the mediastinum. Mature cystic teratomas (MCT) are slow-growing benign tumors accounting for a small number of mediastinal germ cell tumors. Patients with MCT are often asymptomatic, and even most symptomatic intrapulmonary teratomas present with vague and non-specific symptoms such as cough, hemoptysis, and chest pain.

Primary mediastinal choriocarcinoma, also known as non-pregnant choriocarcinoma, is a rare malignancy unrelated to pregnancy, with a higher incidence in males. And primary mediastinal choriocarcinoma is mostly associated with organ and lymph node metastasis, with rapid progression and poor prognosis. Here, we report an extremely rare case of the primary anterior mediastinal choriocarcinoma that occurred in an 18-year-old man with multiple metastases of the lung and brain.

This report describes the establishment of a cell line of a human uterine mixed mesodermal tumor. The tumor of origin derived from a hysterectomy specimen, has been maintained for 14 months in vitro and continues to grow as an established cell line.
