Pregnancy after radical trachelectomy (RT) has a high risk of prematurity and complications such as preterm premature rupture of the membrane and chorioamnionitis. Placing a cervical cerclage at the time of RT plays an important role in preventing such obstetrical complications. It is characterized by the presence of an abnormal longitudinal soft tissue and osseous separation or cleft between the digits and the metacarpal bones. Using a cord to retain the surgically corrected clubfoot replaces the need for repeated plaster casts and prolonged orthotics. 115 patients with severe urinary stress incontinence were operated according to the method of Zoedler with a nylon ribbon (31 cases) and a lyodura ribbon (84 cases).
