Renal pelvis leiomyomas are infrequent benign tumours. These tumours are more frequent in women, usually asymptomatic and difficult to distinguish from malign kidney masses. A 27-year-old female presented with an asymptomatic renal mass discovered after abdominal ultrasound during routine check-up. Ureteric metastases from renal adenocarcinoma are uncommon and occur predominantly in the residual ipsilateral ureteric stump. We report on a patient with renal adenocarcinoma metastasizing to the contralateral renal pelvis and the clinical problems involved.

Three cases of contracted pelvis in Bedouin women, appearing after two and three previous normal vaginal deliveries, are presented. In these three cases cesarean section had to be performed to deliver the babies. A roentgenray screening revealed osteomalacic pelves in all cases with typical psuedo-fractures (Milkman) and Looser zones.
