OBJECTIVE: We evaluate the creation of a percutaneous proximal radial artery-radial vein arteriovenous fistula with Ellipsys® instead of the usual first-stage brachial artery fistula prior to a second-stage brachial vein elevation, in patients with inadequate cephalic and basilic veins.
