An 81-year-old man presented with ruptured thoracic aortic aneurysm under stable condition. He had been suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, chronic renal failure and rheumatoid arthritis. We performed hybrid thoracic endovascular aortic repair via right anterior mini-thoracotomy inserting a device through a conduit on the ascending aorta. The patient was discharged without aorta-related complications.

Neurogenic tumors are derived from tissue of the neural crest. Most of the mediastinal neurogenic tumors occur in the posterior compartment. Extension to the cervical area and the surrounding major arteries is rare. We report a patient with a ganglioneuroma arising from the brachial plexus, extending into the cervical region, and surrounding the left vertebral and subclavian arteries. BACKGROUND: Endoscopy has been introduced into cardiac surgery employing robotic systems. We have developed a new-minimally invasive approach that combines these two technologies for secundum atrial septal defect (ASD).
