Mucinous adenocarcinomas of the renal pelvis and ureter are among the rarest upper urinary tract neoplasm. We report a case of multifocal primary mucinous adenocarcinoma of the renal pelvis and ureter occurring in association with a staghorn calculus and pyonephrosis. A 68 year old man had suffered from right flank pain and upper abdominal swelling for one year. During routine dissection of a 60 years male cadaver, it was observed that the two divisions of sciatic nerve were separate in the gluteal region on both the sides with the tibial nerve passing below the piriformis and the common peroneal nerve piercing the piriformis muscle. The abnormal passage of the sciatic nerve (SN), the common peroneal nerve (CPN), and the tibial nerve (TN), either through the piriformis or below the superior gemellus may facilitate compression of these nerves. Congenital anomalies of the urinary tract system are common. The ectopic pelvic kidney is a rare anomaly about 1:2500 live births, left side being more common. Here we are reporting a case of left ectopic kidney with non rotation and morphologically normal right kidney. The case was found during routine dissection in the department of anatomy in an adult male cadaver. There were no other anomalies observed.

Primary ovarian pregnancy is a rare entity, the incidence being 1 in 25,000 to 40,000 pregnancies. The diagnosis is difficult and still continues to challenge the clinicians. A case of ovarian pregnancy is reported here. The patient underwent laparotomy with right sided oophorectomy. Histopathological examination confirmed it to be an ovarian pregnancy.

Dermatoglyphics is important in anthropology and medical genetics, chiefly because of their diagnostic usefulness. We studied the ridges of finger tips and palm in six Klinefelter's syndrome patients (47,XXY) in the present work. Then the results were compared with equal number of controls. Statistical analysis was done using EPI- info, version- 6.04 d software. We found statistically significant increased in whorls and decreased in loops in klinefelter's syndrome patients as compared to the controls.

Abscess of the prostate has become increasingly rare due to modern antibiotics and a decreasing incidence of gonococcal infections. It is still difficult to diagnose the disorder on clinical grounds. BACKGROUND: The serum level of gamma glutaryl transferase and alkaline phosphatase is raised in acute calculus cholecystitis and common bile duct stone. However, the rise in serum level of these enzymes in acute cholecystitis implies stone in the common bile duct is not well studied. Thus, it may lead to retained CBD stone on one side and unnecessary CBD exploration on the other during emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
