METHODS: The H. pylori status of dyspeptic patients undergoing endoscopy was assessed by histology, culture and rapid urease testing of biopsies and by 13C-urea breath test. Gastric cancer poses a formidable therapeutic challenge due to high heterogeneity and aggressive invasiveness.
