Thermodynamic properties of ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([BMIM] BF4) were determined via inverse gas chromatography (IGC). Two groups of solvents with different chemical natures and polarities were used to obtain information about [BMIM] BF4-solvent interactions. In the present study the series of spirosuccinimides with the aromatic ring at the imide nitrogen atom was synthesized. All the compounds were tested for their anticonvulsant activity in the maximal electroshock (MES) and subcutaneous pentylenetetrazole (scPTZ) screens. The behaviour of the lecithin Epikuron 200 was studied in solution in a chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) aerosol propellant (P113) using light scattering to determine the micellar structure as a function of temperature. BACKGROUND: The role of contact sensitisation in the pathogenesis of oral lichen planus (OLP) has not been clearly defined.
OBJECTIVE: We aimed to evaluate relevant contact sensitisers in OLP.
METHODS: A retrospective study was conducted on OLP patients who underwent patch testing from 1 January 2006 to 31 December 2020 at an Australian tertiary dermatology institution, compared to cheilitis patients patch tested over the same time period.

The efficacy and targeting cells of angiogenesis inhibitor TNP-470 on human squamous cell nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) were investigated. The colorimetric MTT assay was used to evaluate the IC50 values of NPC/HK1 cells and human dermal microvascular endothelial cells (HDMEC) for TNP-470. A study was conducted in a screen printing plant to determine the exposure of workers to isophorone and other organic solvents. One hundred twenty-four charcoal tube samples were collected from both workers breathing zones and various workplace areas. Sampling times were 50-90 minutes.
