INTRODUCTION: Mesenteric cysts are rare lesions of the abdominal cavity or retroperitoneum. The exact etiopathogenesis is still undefined. Clinical manifestation can vary from asymptomatic patients to symptoms of an acute abdomen, making diagnosis very challenging.
