PURPOSE: To assess the rejection episode rate after deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty (DALK) and to identify associated risk factors.
METHODS: This retrospective review of 251 primary DALK procedures performed by 14 surgeons at a single center between February 2008 and November 2015 evaluated the rejection episode rate and associated risk factors using Kaplan-Meier survival and proportional hazards analyses, which took the length of follow-up into consideration.

INTRODUCTION: Clitoral adhesions occur when the prepuce adheres to the glans. These adhesions have been found in up to 22% of women seeking evaluation for sexual dysfunction. The etiology of clitoral adhesions remains largely unclear. Studies published to date on the presentation and management of clitoral adhesions are relatively recent and raise questions for future research.

Two common assessment tools for nicotine dependence are the Fagerstrom Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND) and the Nicotine Dependence section of the Diagnostic Interview Schedule [(DIS)-III-R or -IV based on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM)-III-R and -IV, respectively]. A randomized, placebo-controlled study was conducted examining the singular and combined effects of fluoxetine and a self-help manual on suppressing bulimic behaviors in women with bulimia nervosa. A total of 91 adult women with bulimia nervosa were randomly assigned to one of four conditions: placebo only, fluoxetine only, placebo and a self-help manual, or fluoxetine and a self-help manual. Subjects were treated for 16 weeks. Primary outcome measures included self-reports of bulimic behaviors.
