We describe a case of the blue rubber bleb naevus syndrome, an uncommon systemic disorder characterized by multiple bluish haemangiomas of the skin and gastrointestinal tract. The syndrome is commonly associated with iron deficiency anaemia due to gastrointestinal bleeding. We describe two examples of malignant melanoma that present with clinical and histopathologic characteristics resembling the benign acquired dermal nevus and the spindle and epithelioid cell nevus (Spitz's nevus), respectively. Nevus comedonicus and hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) are disorders of the pilosebaceous unit sharing a similar pathogenesis of follicular occlusion. To our knowledge, less than 10 cases of HS-like lesions complicating nevus comedonicus have been reported. We describe a six-year-old female child with congenital linear nevus comedonicus in the left axilla and groin, complicated by recurrent HS-like lesions in the two years prior to presenting to our clinic. After a meticulous review of the literature, we propose a novel term, nevus comedonicus suppurativa, for this clinical entity.

A 52-year-old male caucasian patient presented with a limbal subconjunctival pigmentation of unknown origin with progressive enlargement over the past years. Differential diagnoses included a malignant melanocytic lesion; therefore, an excisional biopsy was performed. Prior investigations showed no ciliary body or anterior chamber angle involvement. Histological and immunohistochemical analysis revealed the rare diagnosis of a scleral nevus. The clinical, histological and immunohistochemical findings as well as the relevant differential diagnoses are discussed.

Cap polyposis is extremely rare in children. We report a case of an 11-month-old male infant who visited our hospital because of rectal prolapse and small amount of hematochezia lasting several days. He also had an epidermal nevus in the sacral area. Colonoscopy showed erythematous, multilobulated, circumferential, polypoid lesions with mucoid discharge from the rectum.
