BACKGROUND: Robotic surgeries offer technical advantages over laparoscopic surgery, including enhanced precision and ergonomics. However, optimal utilisation requires overcoming the 'carryover effect' of laparoscopic habits and adapting techniques to the robotic platform's unique capabilities.
