Ectopic pregnancy is a life-threatening condition affecting up to 2% of gestations. Implantation in the fallopian tube is most common, with symptoms typically presenting earlier for gestations in the ampulla and isthmus compared with the cornua and non-tubal sites. In this paper, the cases are described of two patients with advanced ectopic pregnancies that ruptured. BACKGROUND: Extraintestinal infestation by Enterobius vermicularis is uncommon. It has been reported to occur in the peritoneal cavity, ovary, fallopian tube, endometrium, lung, liver and urinary tract.
CASE REPORT: Fine needle aspiration diagnosis was made in a case of enterobiasis presenting with a subcutaneous abscess in the natal cleft. Eggs, as well as fragments of cuticle of the adult worm, were found; the morphology of both was best visualized in Papanicolaou-stained smears. Polarizing microscopy highlighted the equally spaced parallel grooves of the cuticle.

A case about a 16 year old individual is presented, in whom no internal genitals and vagina were found; no signs of breast development, axillary and pubic hair growth could be detected. The external genitals were hypoplastic. A sinus urogenitalis was present. The sex chromosome pattern was normal male (XY). On both sides of the pelvic wall rudiments of the Fallopian tube were observed by laparoscopy. Testosterone, estradiol, 17 alpha-OH-progesterone as well as androstendione-secretion could not be stimulated by HCG. Basal and LH-RH stimulated gonadotropins indicated a hypergonadotropic state.
