The study compares results of skin test and assessments of venom specific IgE levels (FAST) in patients with Hymenoptera sting allergic reactions. Results of the two diagnostic methods show considerable correlation. Allergic and pseudo-allergic reactions were examined in penicillin factory workers exposed to the dust of preparations of pivampicillin and pivmecillinam.
