UNLABELLED: Metallo-β-lactamases (MBLs) such as IMP-1 are zinc-dependent enzymes that degrade a wide range of β-lactam antibiotics, including carbapenems. Although many efforts have been made to develop MBL inhibitors, there are no approved inhibitors to date.
