Orofacial masses or swellings are a common presenting complaint in lagomorphs. Similar gross appearances of the masses can complicate clinical interpretation, and histologic review often provides the final diagnosis. Underlying causes vary from infectious to neoplastic. Although inflammatory changes are most commonly reported, various neoplasms occur, although the prevalence of specific tumor types is relatively unknown. BACKGROUND: While pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma is the most common form of pancreatic cancer, many other histologic forms of pancreatic cancer are also recognized. These histologic variants portray unique characteristics in terms of patient demographics, tumor behavior, survival, and responsiveness to treatments.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: Patients who underwent surgical resection of the pancreas for non-metastatic, invasive pancreatic cancer between 2004 and 2014 were selected from the National Cancer Data Base and categorized by histologic variant according to WHO classification guidelines.

BACKGROUND: Population-based data on subsequent neoplasms after women are diagnosed with endometrial and ovarian carcinomas are limited, particularly regarding specific histologic tumor types.
METHODS: The nationwide Swedish Family-Cancer Database of 10.2 million individuals, which includes 19,128 invasive endometrial carcinomas and 19,440 ovarian carcinomas, was used to calculate standardized incidence ratios (SIRs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) for second primary carcinomas. SIRs were calculated for specific follow-up periods. Data on histopathologic types also were used.

Epithelioid angioleiomyoma (EALM) is rare in the skin and subcutaneous tissues. To the best of our knowledge, only two previous cases of this tumor have been reported. Hyalinizing clear cell carcinoma is a low-grade malignant epithelial neoplasm of the salivary glands. The tumor has epithelial cells and lacks myoepithelial cells. Necrotizing sialometaplasia is a benign, self-limiting lesion of the salivary glands. The clinical and histologic features mimic those of mucoepidermoid carcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma. Metastases in the oral soft tissues are rare. They usually occur in the tongue and in the gingiva. The most common primary sites for lesions metastasizing to the oral tissues are lung, kidney, stomach, liver. Cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma-keratoacanthoma (cSCC-KA) is a benign but aggressive neoplasm arising from keratinizing epidermal cells. In this case, we report a 56-year-old man who developed a KA on the right second toe after experiencing a minor trauma to the same region, without osteolysis or nodal invasion. Second toe amputation was performed under sedation. Our case highlights the features of cSCC-KA, its association with trauma, and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
