Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) commonly is used for small liver metastases. Modern conformal radiotherapy techniques, including 3-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy, enable the safe delivery of SABR to small liver volumes. Internal organs at risk volumes (IRV) represent the propagation of organs at risk (OARs) in 4DCT. Sixty consecutive patients that underwent 4DCT for thoracic stereotactic radiotherapy were analyzed and IRVs for heart, trachea, esophagus, bronchial tree, great vessels, and spinal cord were calculated. IRVs were then tested for the respect of dose constraints. IRVs were significantly bigger than standard OARs (p-value <0.001 for all the IRVs). PURPOSE: To optimize the local control of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) using the Vero-SBRT system and respiratory motion management in patients with oligometastatic cancer.

Responses to binocular visual stimulation were compared in cortical area 18 of normal cats and in cats in which one eye was exodeviated by surgery early in postnatal life.
