CASE REPORT: A 42 year-old patient presented a chronic submandibular tumefaction. Antibiotics were not effective. Diffuse osteolysis was noted on the panoramic. The diagnosis was provided by biopsy. The patient was cured after 9 months of antituberculosis tritherapy.
DISCUSSION: Mandibular tuberculosis osteitis is extremely rare. Clinical and radiological presentation is not specific. Diagnosis can be suggested by the chronic course and the epidemiologic context.

We report a case of bacteremia caused by Solobacterium moorei, an anaerobic, non-sporulated Gram-positive bacillus in a patient with a multiple myeloma. The source of infection was presumably related to multiple dento-alveolar abscesses. This is the first recovery of S. moorei from blood cultures.
