The pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of furosemide were investigated after intravenous (i.v.), 1 mg/100 g body weight, and oral administration, 2 mg per 100 g body weight, to spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs) and deoxycorticosterone acetate-salt-induced hypertensive rats (DOCA-salt rats).
