INTRODUCTION: Laparoscopic percutaneous extraperitoneal closure (LPEC) is an alternative to open repair for pediatric inguinal hernias; however, its application for boys remains controversial. In this study, we developed a technique to enhance the safety and feasibility of LPEC.

Epididymo-testicular non-union with a nubbin in the scrotum is a rare anomaly and may be confusing during management of cryptorchidism. Hirudiniasis, or leech infestation, is a rare parasitic condition typically involving external skin or mucosal surfaces.
