BACKGROUND: The debate on how to create ideal facial proportions--once the remit of artists and sculptors--has been reignited during the past 5 decades, with the emergence of aesthetic facial surgery. Classic ideals exist, but few individuals actually satisfy these criteria. Aesthetic ideals are culturally and temporally variable. Hymenoptera stings are common reasons for emergency visits. The admissions for the hymenoptera stings occur for systemic or unusual reactions. We are reporting a man with multiple bee stings, who presented with dizziness and palpitations and was found to have ECG findings of the Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. He had no worsening of symptoms or new ECG changes during his hospitalization. The hymenoptera related cardiac effects have also been reviewed and summarized.

OBJECTIVE: To characterize the fundus autofluorescence (FAF) findings in patients with white dot syndromes (WDSs).
METHODS: Patients with WDSs underwent ophthalmic examination, fundus photography, fluorescein angiography, and FAF imaging. Patients were categorized as having no, minimal, or predominant foveal hypoautofluorescence. The severity of visual impairment was then correlated with the degree of foveal hypoautofluorescence.
