Hereditary diffuse gastric cancer (HDGC) syndrome is an inherited cancer risk syndrome associated with pathogenic germline CDH1 variants. An 85-year-old female presented to hospital with haemoptysis. She underwent investigations which confirmed oesophageal submucosal haematoma.
