Justin is a 6-year-old boy diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder who presented with daytime and night-time wetting. Three cases of acute subdural hematoma without head injury, but associated with bleeding from cortical artery are described. Case 1: a 74-year-old male had sudden headache during a bronchial asthma attack followed by deterioration of consciousness. Electroejaculation is a newly developed method to retrieve sperm in anejaculatory spinal cord injured (SCI) males. We studied 25 completely traumatic SCI males from August 1990 to May 1991. The patients' ages ranged from 18.7 to 43.3 years, and the interval since injury ranged from four months to 14.1 years. The level of injury varied from C5 to T12. Bi-directional emission was found in 12 patients, antegrade in nine, retrograde in one and failure in three. A 22-year-old man known to have β-thalassaemia intermedia since childhood presented with bilateral lower limb weakness after spinal anaesthesia for an elective minor operation of his left leg. MRI and CT scans were performed to rule out acute epidural haematoma; coincidental imaging features of marrow hyperplasia and spinal epidural extramedullary haematopoiesis were found.
