The efficacy of a multimodal analgesic approach for ligation excision haemorrhoidectomy was evaluated in a prospective series of 62 patients. Opioid was given as intravenous fentanyl intra-operatively, as part of a standardised general anaesthetic technique, followed by post-operative parenteral fentanyl or oral oxycodone as required. Cubital tunnel syndrome is the second most common entrapment neuropathy of the upper limb. This paper presents the experience of treating cubital tunnel syndrome with simple decompression in 131 patients (164 ulnar nerves) over the past 12 years. 85% of these patients had mild or moderate ulnar nerve disease. AIMS: The goals of this study were to define the risk factors, characteristics, and chronology of fractures in 5417 revision total hip arthroplasties (THAs).
