PURPOSE: To examine the incidence and trends of late intraocular lens (IOL) dislocation/decentration and the frequency of pseudophakodonesis.
DESIGN: Prospective, population-based cohort study.
METHODS: A total of 800 patients were examined before cataract surgery in 1997-1998. Twenty years later, 100 of 133 survivors (75%) participated in the follow-up. PURPOSE: To report a case of coexistent Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy (FECD) and keratoconus (KCN) in which there was normalization of corneal topography after Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK).
METHODS: Retrospective medical record review.
RESULTS: Preoperative findings revealed a best-corrected visual acuity of 20/40 with -1.00 - 2.50 × 147, topographic maximum keratometry of 50.8 D with inferior steeping, and confluent guttae in the left eye. Medical record review revealed myopic shift, but little change in keratometry or corneal thickness over the previous 3 years.

UNLABELLED: We report a case of chronic low-grade endophthalmitis after cataract surgery presenting with recurrent episodes of severe anterior chamber reactions and hypopyon uveitis caused by Escherichia fergusonii, which was isolated from vitreous aspirate by polymerase chain reaction-based DNA sequencing.
