Ataxias are a group of movement disorders that are characterized by progressive loss of balance, impaired coordination and speech disturbance, which together lead to markedly reduced quality of life. Speech disturbance is clinically diagnosed, but methods for objective assessment of severity are lacking. Stones are the most common cause of collecting system ruptures. There are few reported cases of a ruptured collecting system without an underlying pathological cause. We report a case of a 15-year-old female patient who presented with left flank pain that was associated with nausea and vomiting. Computed tomography revealed a large, left retroperitoneal fluid collection, which was associated with severe hydronephrosis without an obvious pathological cause. The patient was treated with the insertion of a left double-J stent, and a retrograde pyelography confirmed the cessation of extravasation.

Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD) is a rare non-Langerhan's cell histiocytosis affecting multiple organ systems. INTRODUCTION: Diverticular disease of the sigmoid colon prevails in Western society. Its presentation may vary greatly per individual patient, from symptomatic diverticulosis to perforated diverticulitis. Since publication of the original Hinchey classification, several modifications and new grading systems have been developed. Yet, new insights in the natural history of the disease, the emergence of the computed tomography scan, and new treatment modalities plead for evolving classifications.

Vascular involvement is common in Behçet's Disease (BD). The venous system is often affected, while arterial system involvement is a rare occurrence.
