Primary stomach lymphoblastic B-cell lymphoma (B-LBL) is a rare tumor. We describe a primary stomach B-LBL in a 38 years old female who presented with nonspecific complaints of fatigue and vomiting for 2 mo. Gastrofiberscopy revealed a large gastric ulcer, which was successfully resected. Pathology showed a lymphoblastic cell lymphoma arising from the stomach, and there was no evidence of disease at any extrastomach site. BACKGROUND: Gastroduodenal obstruction is a common preterminal event for patients with gastric and pancreatic cancer who often undergo palliative surgical bypass. Endoscopic palliation with self-expanding metallic stents has emerged as a safe and an effective alternative to surgery, but experience with the technique remains limited.
METHODS: Twenty-eight patients hospitalized with GI obstruction because of incurable gastric or pancreatic cancer were recruited for a prospective study of palliation with self-expanding metallic stents. Complications and clinical outcomes were assessed.

BACKGROUND: Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) is, in the main, treated with either proton pump inhibitor (PPI) drugs or a Nissen fundoplication operation. Recently, BARD developed Endocinch, a device used to place sutures just below the oesophagogastric junction (OGJ) to treat GORD.
AIM: To evaluate the long term benefit of the Endocinch technique in patients seen up to 12 months post procedure.
